Barn Conversion, Bournemouth

Liquid Screed 135 square metres

Liquid Screed Ltd was contacted by a self build customer to provide an estimate for a barn conversion of 135 square metres after deciding against using traditional sand and cement screed. As a result of the late change in specification we were able to provide a quotation and complete the work inside 48 hours.

Liquid Screed Bournemouth visited the site of the morning of the insulation to make sure the site preparation was fit for the works to take place. Later in the afternoon 50mm of anhydrite liquid screed was poured using an Aggregate Industries Highflow S material.

Liquid Screed Ltd pride ourselves on quick turn around times to satisfy our customers needs.

4 New Build Plots – London Area

Liquid Screed 200 square metres

Liquid Screed Ltd was approached by a small developer looking for a cost comparison between liquid screed and conventional sand and cement for a project they had on the outskirts of London totalling just under 200 square metres.

Due to the fact that liquid screed can be laid much thinner than traditional sand and cement we were able to supply Aggregate Industries Highflow S on the project at a far more competitive rate than the more traditional method.

Liquid Screed Ltd completed the works in one morning, with our aftercare department returning a week later to remove laitence and prepare the floor for sealing.

Liquid screed can be highly cost effective when larger areas are to be covered.

The Old Cemetery, Oundle – Peterborough

Liquid Screed and Underfloor Heating
127 square metres

Liquid Screed Ltd was asked to provide a bespoke screed and underfloor heating system for a church renovation project in Oundle, near Peterborough.

Liquid Screed Ltd’s underfloor heating design team worked carefully with the client in order to provide a system best suited to be used in conjunction with anhydrite liquid screed.

Our highly experienced team fitted the vapour membrane and underfloor heating pipes on pre-laid insulation before pressure testing the system via a ten port heating manifold.

Liquid screed was poured 24 hours later by one of our flowing screed laying teams to set datum points provided by the customer.

Liquid Screed Sanding Services returned 10 days later to remove the laitence off the screed, this is recommended to prepare the screed to accept primers at a later date.

At Liquid Screed Ltd we pride ourselves on being able to satisfy the needs and demands of our clients; This project was completed from design to installation within 2 weeks.
